Everything you need to know about our coffee, our process, and our ritual.
The IZA RITUAL Difference
Unlike most specialty brands we roast and pack our coffee right where it grows in Tanzania. This helps us keep the flavor as fresh as possible and makes sure the roasting work stays in the community where the coffee is born.
Our coffee is grown using traditional ways that respect the land in the Tanzanian highlands. We work with estates that use rich volcanic soil and natural compost instead of synthetic chemicals. We care about the purity of the harvest and the health of the land to make sure you get a clean and honest cup.
Yes. Every bag of IZA RITUAL is 100% high grade Arabica.
It really comes down to where they grow. Nyanza Estate is a Lakeside Plateau Selection, smooth with caramel and almond notes. Highland Reserve is a Summit Ridge Microlot from the higher ridges, bold cocoa and bright citrus.
Ordering & Shipping
We roast and pack our coffee in small batches at the source. Once it gets to our hub in New Jersey we process orders within 24 to 48 hours. You can usually expect your coffee to arrive in 3 to 5 business days.
Once your order is ready you will get an email with a tracking number. You can use that to follow your package as it moves from New Jersey to your door.
Since coffee is a fresh product we do not accept returns on whole beans. But we want you to be happy. If there is a problem with your order or if it arrives damaged please let us know within 7 days and we will make it right.
Subscriptions — The IZA RITUAL Circle
The IZA RITUAL Circle is designed to make sure you never run out of coffee. Subscribers get a 10% discount on every bag and get first access to our rarest harvests. You can choose a schedule that works for you, whether that is every two weeks or every month.
Yes. You have total control through your account portal. You can skip a shipment, change your frequency, or cancel whenever you want, no questions asked.
Brewing & Storage
For the best taste we suggest enjoying IZA RITUAL within 30 to 45 days of the roast date. The coffee is still good after that but those bright flavors from the highlands are best in the first month.
Air and light are the enemy of freshness. Keep your coffee in the original IZA RITUAL bag, it is designed to preserve what the highlands worked hard to create. Store it in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight.
Our coffees come from specific small lots with limited harvests. We pack in 10oz (283g) bags to keep the quality of these rare selections high while making sure you are always brewing from a fresh, recently opened bag.
